Q. When did you first learn you had ADHD? What was your initial reaction?

A. My parents had me diagnosed when I was in kindergarten (around 5 y/o). They told me, but I don't really remember having an actual understanding of the fact that I had it until I was 10, and I didn't begin to understand what having ADHD actually meant until I was in my teens.

Q. How do you personally define ADHD?

A. I personally define having ADHD as sort of not having the same ability of a non ADHD person to stay on task and filter out what I don't need to be focusing on.
