Q. What is your favorite thing to do outside of school? 

A. 



Q. When did you first find out you had ADHD? How did you react to the news? 

A.  When I was 11. I thought it made sense. 



Q. How do you personally define ADHD? 

A. I just have trouble focusing and sitting still at times. 



Q. Do you use accommodations in class? How do they help you? 

A. I use extended time, oral testing, and a calculator. Without extended timing I get anxious about finishing on time and hearing the test questions out loud helps me understand them. 



Q. What are some of the positive characteristics ADHD gives you? 

A.  It gives me more energy and helps me stay motivated to work harder. 



Q. What are some of the strategies you use to stay focused in school, on homework, and social settings? 

A. I use a stress ball sometimes. Getting up and walking around for a minute or two, helps me go back to class feeling focused. 



Q. How does ADHD affect you in school? 

A. It's challenging for me to sit through classes. 



Q. Why should people be proud to have ADHD? 

A. You are forced to get good study habits and learn to work hard.
